- If you are here, then you are likely one of those who knows what it feels like to be betrayed, abused, abandoned, and completely shattered. This isn’t something I had planned or ever wanted to write but in the providence of God, here I am, very intimidated but yet willing to share my brokenness with you in hopes that you can discover the same kind of treasures I found in my journey.

Girl this kind of thing gets me excited like nothing else! I also love the message it's getting across: Native missionaries are the next frontier of missions movement. I just got finished reading "Revolution in World Missions" by K.P. Yohannan, founder of Gospel for Asia. (You can actually get this book for free at www.gfa.org) Sounds like these two ministries are similar. GFA is committed to training and supporting native missionaries to reach those in similar people groups. He argues our role as wealthy Americans are live simply in order to give give GIVE so that these native missionaries can GO.
I still think God is still calling Americans into foreign missions, but how much more could we do if the MAJORITY of our focus was on these natives versus the cost/time it takes to sustain a North American missionary? As for Jason and I, I have no doubt God has called us to go overseas, but we will not be going to one area and devoting the rest of our lives to that. We want go somewhere where there is no evangelical Christian presence and get a growing, self-sustaining group of believers going, then move on to somewhere else.
